چکیده مقاله
This paper presents a numerical investigation of forced convection heat transfer in an isothermal microchannel filled with air-carbon black aerosol under the influence of a magnetic field and slip solid walls. The study focuses on the effects of various parameters, including the solid volume fraction, Reynolds number, Hartman number, and Knudsen number, on the heat transfer characteristics of the system. The simulations were conducted for a solid volume fraction of 0.001, Reynolds numbers of 0.01 and 5, Hartman numbers of 0.01 and 5, and Knudsen numbers ranging from 0.005 to 0.05. The results revealed that the slip velocity boundary condition and temperature jump on the wall increase as the Knudsen number increases. This suggests that the Knudsen number plays a significant role in determining the heat transfer characteristics of the system. Furthermore, the study found that an increase in the Knudsen number leads to a decrease in the average Nusselt number. This indicates that the heat transfer rate decreases as the Knudsen number increases. The results also showed that the magnetic field has a negligible effect on the heat transfer characteristics of the system. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the heat transfer characteristics of microchannels filled with air-carbon black aerosol under the influence of a magnetic field and slip solid walls. The findings can be useful in the design and optimization of microchannel heat exchangers for various applications.
